I had a great experience when I visited Outta the Blue Cafe a couple of months ago! I grabbed a pumpkin spice latte and was elated at how yummy the flavor was. The entire shop was so vibey, which was a fun surprise! I also loved the Made in KC merch. For a last-minute coffee and not knowing this gem existed, it was such a hit. I didn't realize until writing this review that they had cocktails and wine, so I'll definitely be back!

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I come for the cocktails! For me, they have a nice selection of what I like. I prefer Rum cocktails and they offer several options. My girlfriend is a coffee drinker and she loves their espresso martini....and this place has one of the best. It is small, so you may have to battle for a seat, but we have never had a problem. They offer pastries and other light items which look wonderful, but I have never tried one. For us, it is a great place to relax with a cocktail any evening.

Outta the Blue Cafe is the coffee shop you go to for good vibes and a momentary getaway. With swings as chairs and plant galore, it's easy to fall in love with the atmosphere. Coupled with some delicious drinks and this cafe was an excellent find in 2024. Can't wait to keep coming back again and again.

Outta the Blue cafe was popping on a Saturday morning. Packed with people enjoying coffees and espresso martinis. A very relaxed vibe with several different seating arrangements from chairs, benches, and swings. A great selection of pastries and coffees. You can enjoy an alcoholic drink or a coffee. A great place to grab coffee while in town center plaza.

Outta The Blue Is So Chill! Upon Walking In, I Felt Taken Away To A Tropical Cafe! The Plants At The Front And The Rattan Is Such A Wonderful Touch. I Was Greeted Upon Walking In As It Was Busy But The Barista Was Plenty Nice! I Am A Sucker For A Seasonal Latte So I Ordered The Pecan Pie Latte And It Was Pretty Good! The Flavor Was There And It Gave Winter Vibes And I Liked That! Overall I Would Return To Outta The Blue For The Chill Vibes!

Great coffee shop with fun drinks! We came in mid morning 1030 am on Saturday and was buzzing. Well lit, snacks, and friendly service ! I got the white cap and they were able to make it with oatmilk!

What a cute place! If you are needing the feel of a tropical location, this is a great option to do it with greenery around and even swings for seats near the window. I ordered an iced caramel latte and it was absolutely delicious. I noticed there were alcohol options as well as food, so I look forward to coming back and trying more options. This might be a great spot to warm up after ice skating across the street as well!

Met a friend for coffee in the morning and was quite surprised with the interior of this coffee shop/bar. The caramel latte and the chia tea were both very tasty, probably the better flavors that we have found in the area this far. We chose not to sit at one of the tables with the rope swing, chair and tables were comfortable and at a good height. There was a good number of people in the place and yet you didn't feel like you have to talk louder in order to hear anyone you were sitting with. Very nice place, will add this to my rotation.

This is a nice spot to meet up for coffee or breakfast. You can also connect to Wi-Fi and work from one of their tables. I ordered a White Chocolate Mocha. It was an 8-oz. cup that cost about $1 an ounce. It was just enough, but JEEZ! Why so expensive? Anywho, I will try it again.

When Parisi left this little shopping center in Leawood I wasn't sure I'd have much of a reason to return, aside from visiting some of the restaurants a few times a year. I used to use to meet folks at that Parisi all the time, have meetings, pick up a coffee while on the go, etc. It was just a great spot to have in that area. Outta the Blue Cafe has been open now for a few years, and I can't believe it took me this long to make it over, but when I was meeting someone in this part of town I finally had the perfect opportunity to see what all the buzz was about. First of all, they completely lean into the tropical vibes and even have these rope swing chairs you can sit in if you want to really take your experience to the next level. To me though they honestly looked fairly uncomfortable so I passed on them this time around. I selected one of their seasonal drinks - I think it had coconut in it? It was DIVINE. When I choose to indulge in a specialty coffee I feel like half the time I'm in love and the other half it's a huge let down. This time I was in love, and having great atmosphere, plus an exceptional drink really made me fall for this place. Overall this is a charming local cafe that is worth the visit, especially in the summer when you want to feel like you've escaped to a tropical oasis.
